DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, March 17th 15 runners will run the Los Angeles Marathon as part of the 1st ever United Way/LA Marathon Team to help support people in crisis and build shared prosperity. The team is comprised of runners from our various Corporate Partners including PCL\, Automobile Club\, Bobrick Washroom Equipment\, Delta and Sikand Engineering\, as well as some friends recruited by Coach John Pang from United Way. The team has a $15\,000 fundraising goal and is working very hard both training to get to the finish and asking friends and family to support their effort. As John stated\, “my pain for 26.2 miles is temporary and nothing compared to the hardships many of unhoused neighbors endure daily”!
