Wildfire Response
Wildfires in LA County are affecting tens of thousands of people. United Way focuses on longer-term recovery efforts to support members of our community, and we are working with our community partners to assess the impact on the ground.
For those who would like to help, you can support residents by donating to our emergency Wildfire Response Fund. With this fund, we are drawing upon our experience from past wildfires to address urgent, ongoing needs, which include support for low-income individuals whose livelihood has been disrupted, people experiencing homelessness and those who provide services to support them, and disruptions to community organizations and small businesses.
For organizations or individuals gifting funds that require special handling, please contact Erin Morton, VP of Strategic Partnerships, at info@unitedwayla.org
